I think in a lot of respects the amount of porn colors our perception of reality, too. I know all the women that I talk to in person don't find it mainstream - it's completely taboo. I certainly don't mention that I love it because I'm not one to crave the shock factor.

I have to completely agree here with Conina. I do not know any other women in my life that are accepting of anal, or enjoy it. It is still taboo, I could not even discuss how much I enjoy it with other women I know. I talked with a large number of married men recently and none of them were having anal sex with their wives, with the exception of maybe a special occasion.

I think it's one of these things that is very different depending on the age range you're in. I'm aware it's often dumb to generalise, but if you were to look at age brackets, many of those 22 and under are more influenced by the amount of pornography they've had available to them in their teens than people of my sort of age range (late thirties)

My point is, if anal is becoming more popular with the younger ranges of society, how long until it becomes 'the norm'.

and i hear from many of the younger ladies that they lost their anal virginity before their vaginal. This following bj's at a much earlier age. I'm also a little disturbed too - in my day the handjob was the usual method of contraception if you didn't have a condom. Blowjob occasionally if you were lucky.
